The snowmobiling on Raft Mountain and in Raft Valley is next to none and famous among enthusiasts. Learn how to ride if you are a beginner, visit mountain tops with spectacular views and play in sugar powder bowls during this outstanding adventure. Program: Saturday - RAFT VALLEY AND TROPHY VIEWPOINT Check in at Helmcken Falls Lodge at 01.00 p.m. Meet your guide and drive to the trailhead. After the guide explains the functions of the Skidoo 500 machines and how to ride a snowmobile we start up the trail to the Trophy Mountain Trailhead at approx. 1600m above sea level. From there we will have breathtaking views of the North Thompson Valley, the Shuswap Highlands and the Cariboo Mountain Range. After descending back down to the trailhead we drive back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight. Sunday - TOP OF THE WORLD - RAFT MOUNTAIN In the morning after breakfast we will meet the guide at 10.00 a.m. and drive to the trailhead. We then head up to the Horse Trail and conquer West Raft. We will be enjoying spectacular views from Raft Peak over the Shuswap Mountain, Cariboos, Monashees and if the weather is right, all the way to Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. After a packed lunch at the mountain hut we head to east Raft to play in vast powder bowls. We return to the parking lot at the trailhead at approx. 03.00 p.m., load the machines on to the trailer and say good buy to our guide ( please remember that tips are not included). Unfortunately thereafter all good things come to an end and it's time for departure after a great weekend.
