DAY 2 -  DOG SLEDDING, SNOWSHOEING & WILDLIFE VIEWING

Knowing about theory we then hitch up the dogs and mush a round  in the vast ranch fields (approx. 2 km). After a packed lunch back in your rooms at the Lodge your guide will pick you up and in our 4x4 vehicle we proceed further into the park to visit Helmcken Falls & Dawson Falls where you can view the partly frozen waterfalls and bizarre ice cones. After instructions a 2 hour snowshoe hike takes us through prime Moose habitat to the base of Dawson Falls. Chances are very high to be able to observe moose or deer in their natural surroundings. Dinner at the Helmcken Falls Lodge.

DAY 3 - SNOWMOBILING
In the morning we will meet the guide and drive to the trailhead which is located half way back to the main Highway 5 and the town of Clearwater. After the guide explains the functions of the Skidoo 500 machines and how to ride a snowmobile we start up the trail to the Trophy Mountain Trailhead at approx. 1600m above sea level. From there we will have breathtaking views of the North Thompson Valley, The Shuswap Highlands and the Cariboo Mountain Range. After enjoying our packed lunch we descend back down to the trailhead and say good bye to our guide (please remember that tips are not included). Unfortunately thereafter all good things come to an end and it's time for departure after a great weekend. Driving time to Kamloops will be 1,5 hours, to Vancouver 6 and to Seattle 8 hours.
