THE SNOWARAMA

!!! Three days of winter fun on snow machines - all inclusive !!!

5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

 FOR ONLY CDN $ 895.00

An unforgettable adventure exploring the white wilderness of Wells Gray Park and the adjacent Shuswap Highlands. Wells Gray Park, a vast, untamed and primitive wilderness exceeding 520,000 hectares in area offers an infinite variety of superb scenery. The Park is located 384 kilometers northeast of Vancouver in the Cariboo Mountains. In winter tremendous snowfalls and moderate temperatures create a fantastic winter wonderland and Helmcken Falls, the third highest waterfall in Canada, forms an enormous ice cone - an area well worth to visit.

Looking at the snowy peaks of the Shuswap Highlands in wintertime everybody has the desire to conquer the mountains and look at the world from above. Those dreams will be fulfilled during this snowmobiling program. Experienced and trained guides take you on 500cc snowmobiles to the fascinating alpine areas of Foghorn, Granite Mountain and Grizzly Mountain Plateau.

For the four nights of accommodation we have chosen the Blue Grouse Country Inn (during the Holiday Season and Valentine's) and the Helmcken Falls Lodge (January & February) located in the beautiful Upper Clearwater Valley and surrounded by the wilderness of Wells Gray Park. Here meals are provided starting with dinner the first day and ending with breakfast on departure day. Lunch usually consists of a packed lunch which we will enjoy on the trail. From the Inn or Lodge we will start our adventure excursions daily into the surrounding winter wonderland.

Program:

Day 1
Arrival at the Blue Grouse Country Inn or Helmcken Falls Lodge, dinner at 7:00pm and overnight.

Day 2  to Day 4
After a scrumptious breakfast every morning we drive our 4x4 vehicles which are pulling the trailers loaded with our machines to the trailheads in the Clearwater area (20 - 40 minutes). There we provide detailed instructions in operating a snowmobile and safety procedures. After everyone feels comfortable we will explore the endless trails and lakes of the Grizzly Mountain Plateau the first day, the alpine meadows of Foghorn and Granite Mountains the next day and finish off he last day with the highlight of the trip - the breathtaking scenery and powder meadows of Raft Peak. Packed lunch en route. Playing in virgin powder which feels like riding your machine on top of ocean waves and breathtaking views of mountain scenery will make this unforgettable days for any novice or experienced snow rider. Dinner at the Inn or Lodge.
